Many things can happen in 4 months...

...like going through dogs like water.
Yup, the bad news is, we got rid of Rolo. She was too much too handle for me in school while she was in her puppy stage. It made me super sad to get rid of her, but I knew it would be better for both of us.

So about a week or so later, we got another dog, which only lasted for about 2 days. She shed. That's why we got rid of her. She was a Chihuahua (which we were absolutely not planning on getting, we just saw her and wanted her.) Her name was Pixie. She wasn't that soft, and she shed. She was really well-behaved, or maybe that's just because she was afraid, so she didn't want to make us mad. I didn't bond with her very much in those 2 days, but Mom kind of did.

Last but definitely not least, after we got rid of Pixie, we got Lulu, our Schnauzer. I think she's going to stick with us for the rest of her life. She's a really good dog and she's very pretty. She's about 2 years old, and we got her about 2 1/2 months ago. When we got her, she already knew sit and shake. I've always wanted a dog that knew shake! She also must have kind of knew stay, because she learned it fast when we were teaching her. She still plays with toys and it's so cute. It's really funny when she chases her toys, because she's 14 pounds, not 8, like Rolo, so she pounds the ground when she gets her toys. She's so loud. She's a good dog though. She also snorts a lot. It's hilarious! She'll just sigh and it sounds like a snort. She'll also chase the vacuum. I have no clue why. She even tries to bite it! You probably won't be seeing anymore emails or new blog posts from me about a new dog. Yaaay! See what I mean about going through dogs like water?

In October, for the Boo Bowl in band, I dressed up as a watermelon. I look so cute!

Last month, during the week of Thanksgiving, I went through all of my clothes. Look at this pile! Apparently I'm a gorilla because I have long arms, and most of the sleeves on my long sleeve shirts are too short.

We are doing 12 days, meaning we leave gifts at a family's house without them seeing us, like "With 12 days till Christmas...12 Christmas Carols." The carols are just Christmas songs. On the first night, I was going alone, and I had the CD and when I got to the door, I knocked and ran. While still holding the gift. Right when I reached the car, I realized that I still had it. Mom and Dad will never let me forget that. We drove around for about 10 minutes, and then I tried again, leaving a giggling Mom and Dad. On the second night I did it by myself too, and when I ran back to the car I fell. Because of the curb. On the third night, I did it with Trevin, and I twisted my ankle On Thursday night, when Cody got home, Trevin, Cody, and I were all going up to the porch. I was holding the present and right when I finished putting it down, the porch light turned on, and the door opened. It was scary! We almost got caught! The family has little kids, so of course they want to catch us. Never again will we let that happen. This is the most eventful 12 days I've ever done.
Just yesterday, I got a new flute!! It's so pretty and shiny, I don't even want to touch it. I only want to look at it. I've looked at it about 10 times, and if I ever see a tiny fingerprint or something on my flute I gasp and immediately I wipe it off.
It's so pretty! Don't touch it!

I'm so excited for this whole week! So much is happening! I'm going to Six Flags on Wednesday, Jeffrey and Debbie are coming Thursday, Friday is Christmas Eve (I get to play my new flute!), and Saturday, well you know. I'm very excited. This will also be Lulu's first Christmas with us! Same with Mallie and Mason.
I love Christmas time!

Popcorn

So we gave Rolo a piece of popcorn that we found in the kitchen, and she didn't eat it! She turned it into a toy! It was so weird, though, because she's eaten popcorn before. Every time we got close to her and her piece of popcorn, she would pick it up and run away! Here's what she did.

Here's Rolo guarding her piece of popcorn.

Surprise! Early B-Day

I had a kind of early b-day, because I got a birthday present: a new Yorkie poo puppy!!! It's a girl, and she's 3 months and 5 lbs. I wouldn't have guessed she had any poodle in her. She looks just like a Yorkie. I just got her today, and she already seems to be attached to me. After all, she is my dog. I named her Rolo, like the candy.

It seems like she loves being under stuff, since her favorite place looks like it's under the kitchen island and under me!

I love my new puppy.

We haven't mowed in a while, so our grass is so long! She gets buried in it!

This is what she did when she refused to go potty.
I love my new Yorkie poo!

Summer Vacation

First off, I'll tell you about our vacation. First, we had a week at Nana's house with Dad, Mom, Cody, and me. We did lots of fun stuff, but then the time came to say good-bye. I was staying an extra week at Nana's house, but everyone else left for Utah to take Cody to college. During Nana Camp, the rest of the Fab Four came and we did all sorts of things, like cooking, sewing, learning how to ski, and we also went to see Toy Story 3. If you haven't seen it, do it right now! It's sooo good and hilarious! It's my favorite movie right now. Anyway, we went to see our neighbors' animals and got to gather eggs. It was so cool seeing all of the animals. We did get to see them before everyone left. Their cow was pregnant, but she didn't have her calf while we were there. We also went to Brookstone, a place for elderly people, and all of the Fab 4 did a dance to the song, "Man, I feel like a Woman." We also made a skirt and some pants. It was so fun! Here are some pics.
We had to push her out of here just to get her eggs.

I got to sit on this mule!

This donkey is 39 years old!

We all got new shirts!
And new rings!

We took walks on almost every morning, and one morning we took a new path and found some flowers.

We were playing around on the trampoline. Doesn't it look like I'm a giant sitting on the roof?

I'm sewing my pj's.
There's me with my skirt and pj's.
Don't ask about our pants. All we did was put our skirt on and took off our pants. Yeah, we're weird like that.

There's all of us in our pj's.

I actually got up on skis! In both of these pictures, I'm crouching and my knees are together.
Time to say goodbye. Nana gave us all little sheep. The youngest, which is me, got to choose first.
We are all standing in age order in this pic.

Then at the end of the vacation, I got strep throat. I love happy endings! It was kinda hard to talk cause my throat and glands were so swollen. I did have a fun time on vacation, though.

Spring Break Surprise

First off, I think I should tell you when Spring Break was. It was during the week of St. Patrick's Day.
Now, for the surprise: I got braces! They're green for St. Patrick's Day and surprisingly, they didn't hurt that much. I only got them on my top front teeth, but sometime soon I will get some on my bottom teeth, too. At first, it was a little difficult for me to get used to having braces, especially when I play my flute. Now, I'm really used to my braces, but I'll have to go through the same process, but with bottom braces.

Don't I look weird? Actually, the first thing I said when I saw myself like this was "Who's that?"

That's to show you that I also got my last 2 baby teeth pulled out. "You're not my baby anymore!" -Mom. Poor Mom, she doesn't get to have a baby, since my baby teeth are gone. I'm the happy one, but I don't know about her. I think she's glad, because she said that she hated watching me be in pain sometimes. "No more getting my teeth pulled from the dentist. Whoo!" -me. :)
